What is the rate for the Holiday Program?

The rate for the 6-hour block is $454.32. This amount will be itemised on your invoice under three categories:
- Support
- Non-face-to-face support
- Centre costs

What is non-face-to-face support provision?

This cost covers the extra time required to:
- Develop the Base Camp program to ensure it is suitable and meets participants’ NDIS goals.
- Conduct risk assessments.
- Adjust activities to meet specific disability needs.
For Base Camp programs, only 30 minutes is charged for non-face-to-face support (e.g., 15 minutes before and after the program or 30 minutes prior). While planning often takes longer, this cap keeps costs affordable within participants’ plans.

What are centre costs?

A small cost is claimed for providing services within a centre-based facility.
This is $2.53 per hour added to the hourly rate, charged only for Base Camp activity time.

Will travel/transport for activities be charged?

Yes, transport costs for Base Camp activities will be charged.
Costs are capped at 20 km per shift for community activities. While actual mileage may exceed 20 km, this cap keeps costs affordable for participants.

What food is included?

Food planning will be finalised closer to the activity day based on the participants who have booked.
You are welcome to pack safe foods for your child, similar to a school lunchbox.

Are activities included?

Short Answer: Yes, the activity cost is covered by IntoLife!
Long Answer:
- Due to NDIS changes, we have reorganised how activities are structured to ensure participants do not pay anything out of pocket.
- While NDIS funds the support provided, it does not fund activity costs. However, activities can be included as long as the charge does not exceed the support rate.
- We are not adding extra time to the activity block to cover these costs as per NDIS legislation. IntoLife will absorb activity costs within our business so that all participants can enjoy the same experiences without financial barriers.
